Parma want to keep Giovinco

Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi has outlined his intention to turn on-loan Sebastian Giovinco’s deal into a permanent one at the end of the season.
The playmaker is owned by Juventus but in seasons past he has struggled to command a place in the Bianconeri’s team. As a result, he was allowed to spend this campaign on loan with Parma, where he has been a success.
As part of the agreement, Parma have an option to buy half of Giovinco’s contract in the summer and co-own him with Juve, and Ghirardi has every intention of doing this.
The Gialloblu president claimed: “He is here on loan and we have a right to buy the half. We have already presented our intention to do this with Juventus. We will see what they want to do with their half.”
Ghirardi also confirmed his wish to resolve the future of Antonio Candreva, who is co-owned by Parma and Udinese.
“It’s the same for Candreva. There will be no problems as both players, at least their halves, will be Parma’s.”
Giovinco, however, will be Ghirardi’s priority in the summer because of the impact he has had this season with Parma. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
