Parolo pleased with current form for Cesena

Cesena’s Marco Parolo says he is satisfied with his personal form and that of the team. The Cavallucci have picked up eight points from their past four matches which has seen them climb out of the relegation zone, albeit only by a point.
However, coming off the back of an eight match winless streak, the attacking midfielder felt the team is on the right path: “The team is experiencing a fine moment, which has put us back on the road to safety,” he claimed to “With Juventus we played a very good match and I think that had we equalised earlier we could have gone on to win.”
Parolo scored the equalising goal in Saturday’s 2-2 draw and so far this season has featured 28 times for Massimo Ficcadenti, scoring on four occasions. There have been howls from his Club for a call-up to the Italian side but Parolo is thinking only of Cesena.
“I am currently experiencing a very good moment. I am pleased with the compliments but I am not thinking of the national team. It is a necessity for me to keep my feet on the ground; it is not enough to play well for half a season and to then think of the Azzurri shirt.”
Cesena travels to Rome this week to take on a wounded Lazio. Parolo is wary of one particular Biancoceleste player: “They have one above all to fear – Hernanes. He is a player able to score at any moment.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
