Pastore bemoans Palermo £100m valuation

Javier Pastore has criticised the decision of Palermo officials to place a valuation of €100 million for his services.
The young Argentine was reportedly subject of a January transfer deadline day bid from Manchester City and is rated as one of most promising midfielders in world football.
With several of Europe’s top clubs chasing the 21-year-old, including Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea, current club Palermo have slapped a €100 million price tag on their prized asset in an attempt to warn off potential suitors.
The Argentina international has been quick to distance himself from that valuation while also insisting that he is happy to remain with the club for the time being.
“One hundred million Euros? It must be a joke about my future,” said Pastore.
“I don’t think I am a player worth that amount of money. My transfer can’t cost 100 million euros.
“I am very happy where I am at the moment. Nobody needs to ask for so much money for making me stay at Palermo.”

Pastore has made six appearances for his country, also appearing at the World Cup in South Africa. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
