Pastore has buy-out clause in new Palermo contract

Javier Pastore is ready to sign a new contract at Palermo, but it will contain a €70 million buy-out clause to warn off any potential suitors.
The 21-year-old Argentinean is rated so highly that both Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with bids. Pastore has always reaffirmed his commitment to Palermo though, and is set to pledge his immediate future to the Rosanero by signing a new deal.
However, president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed the enormous buy-out clause included in the contract. Zamprini told Sky Sports: “Pastore’s new contract is ready and we just need to shake hands with his agent and it will be signed when he returns.
“I can confirm the recessionary clause will be €70 million and his wages will rise over the next two to three years.”
Palermo claim they have already rejected several big-money bids for their star player, but now any potential suitors will have to be prepared to pay one of the highest transfer fees of all time. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
