Pastore: “I wish to play for Barcelona or Real Madrid”

Argentine Javier Pastore has made his ambitions clear for all to see as he declared that one day he wishes to go to Spain and play for either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
The Palermo ace has been in sensational form and has been a major factor behind the Rosanero’s good start to the season. However, he knows that his long time future does not reside in Sicily.
“I heard that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez keep speaking about me. Real Madrid and Barcelona are two of the best teams in the world and the fact that they maybe interested in me is nice to know.”
“It keeps me calm and gives me reassurance that I am doing well”,
Pastore told El Grafico. The 21-year old has scaled the heights of fame in recent months and his progress hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Earlier this year, Diego Maradona said that Pastore was a ‘rudely gifted’ footballer. Barcelona star Lionel Messi also admitted that Pastore really caught his eye Argentina’s World Cup training program.
However, with Palermo owner Maurizio Zamparini having put a €60 million price-tag on his head, the Argentinian has massive expectations on his shoulders. But Pastore isn’t deterred and claimed that he will eventually love to join one of the Spanish giants.
“It would by nice to join a club like that as it would mean an important growth in my career. If things continue as they are then maybe one day I can play for a club of this category.”
