Pastore signs new Palermo deal

Real Madrid and Barcelona target Javier Pastore has secured his immediate future at Palermo by signing a new contract, although he has warned his club that he has one eye on a transfer.
The 21-year-old Argentine has been the subject of interest from the two Spanish giants, but has always pledged his loyalty to Palermo. The Rosanero even claim to have rejected a €50 million bid last summer, believed to have been from either Real or Barcelona.
But Pastore will still be in Sicily for the forseeable future after penning an extension to his current deal, although it includes a buy-out clause of €60 million which means that he will one day earn a dream move.
The new deal ties Pastore to Palermo until 2015 and he will reportedly earn a basic salary of €0.8 million per season, which will increase with every year he spends with the Sicilian club.
However, Pastore has already indicated that whilst his immediate future is with Palermo, he could change clubs in the next couple of years. “I am very happy here,” he said. “But from 2012 onwards, we will see.”
Europe’s biggest clubs, including Real and Barcelona, are allegedly keeping tabs on Pastore’s situation, but if they want to buy him then they will have to pay a fee which will make the playmaker one of the world’s most expensive players ever. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
