Pastore: “We play to win, I do as Rossi asks”

Palermo striker Javier Pastore talked about tonight’s game against Napoli at the San Paolo, a game that both teams will be eager to win.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Pastore declared: “Tonight’s game is very important but not crucial for a place in the Champions League. Obviously we want to win and the same is for Napoli. We are two teams that play good football.”
The Argentinean elaborated why the Rosanero are keen for a victory in this match: “It would be good to win also to give continuity to a positive series of results, tonight I will try to play the way Delio Rossi wants.”
He also talked about his former national Coach Diego Maradona who had described him as a ‘rudely talented footballer’. “The Stadio San Paolo will be really crowded tonight, a huge emotion to play tonight, I hope that Maradona will see me, I was touched by his compliments because they were spontaneous.”
Pastore, also thanked Napoli striker Edison Cavani who invited him to move to Napoli: “I want to thank Edy who played at Palermo with me last year, however as I already said I see myself just at Palermo, there are no Real Madrid or Barcelona or Napoli, I want to stay here also the next season.”
Palermo and Napoli are both vying for Champions League spots with the Rosanero sitting level on points in fifth place while the Partenopei are just a point above. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
