Pato: “I hope to play against Inter”

Alexandre Pato, Milan’s Brazilian wunderkind, has assured fans he will be fit for the Milan derby on April 2, according to Calcio Mercato.
Pato has been struggling with a sprained ankle, picked up during the Rossoneri’s 1-0 loss to Palermo last weekend, and it remains unclear as to whether he will be available to play for Brazil in their friendly against Scotland this coming Sunday.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic suspended for the game, Milan will be eager to have the youthful Brazilian fully fit.
Speaking to the Italian press outside Malpensa airport, the young forward said: “The ankle is better. Fans should rest assured; I hope to play against Inter.”
He also commented on the return of fellow countryman Leonardo,” He was very important to me. We have stayed in close contact since he left.”
The Duck has been plagued by injuries so far this season, but his goal- scoring return of 11 in only 19 games suggests he could be instrumental if Milan are to stop Inter’s recent monopoly of the league. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
