Pato injury leaves Allegri anxious

After a flawless performance against Sampdoria the only problems that the Rossoneri had to endure was the loss of Christian Abbiati and Alexandre Pato to injury.
Abbiati came off due to a knee problem, which was originally suspected to be the same of that two years ago when he ruptured his cruciate ligament, however, an initial assessment seems to show a bruise; lowering the level of concern.
Unfortunately this does not seem to be the case for the Brazilian who walked off holding his right thigh, asking for an immediate substitution, making it his third muscle injury this season alone. The fans, players and Coach Allegri hope that this is just a simple contraction, but tests can only be done on Sunday. A period out of no less than 2-3 weeks can be expected.
This injury leaves Milan with a problem as they will have to face Brescia with only Robinho and Cassano available as Ibrahimovic will still be serving his suspension. However the Swede will play in the Coppa Italia semi-final clash against Palermo.
There are five more games left of the season and should Pato be given a three week recovery period, the Brazilian may be back for the game against Roma on May 7. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
