Pazzini set to start for Italy vs Serbia

Giampaolo Pazzini has been tested in the starting eleven by Cesare Prandelli for Tuesday’s European Championship qualifier with Serbia, according to Tuttosport.
Italy failed to break down Northern Ireland in Belfast last Friday, so Prandelli is considering changes up-front. The beneficiary of these alterations could be Pazzini, who missed a late chance after coming on as a substitute against the Irish.
In training, the Sampdoria frontman replaced Simone Pepe in the starting line-up, joining Marco Borriello and club team-mate Antonio Cassano in a three-pronged attack.
Pazzini has been on record in the past few days, saying that he hoped to play from the start against Serbia. The match is at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, the home of Pazzini’s Sampdoria. In the stadium where the ex-Fiorentina striker has found his top form, Prandelli feels he may add a fresh impetus to Italy’s lacklustre front-line.
Prandelli will be forced into more changes, as Daniele De Rossi has been ruled out, and Leonardo Bonucci is doubtful. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
