Pazzini unmoved by German interest

Giampaolo Pazzini’s agent has claimed that the striker will remain at Sampdoria despite interest from German duo Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen.
Pazzini has been one of Serie A’s most clinical goalscorers since moving to Sampdoria almost 18 months ago. He was linked with a switch to the Bundesliga, but his agent has insisted that he is happy at his current club.
Tulio Tinti said: “Sampdoria did not want to sell him in the summer, despite the fact he had important teams chasing him both in Italy and abroad.
“Will he leave in January? The market then is very difficult and it is always hard to move a player of such high important value. But we will see. Although I don’t think Pazzini will move.”

The news will be a welcome boost to Sampdoria, whose star player Antonio Cassano is on the brink of being kicked out of the club for disciplinary reasons. Pazzini’s form hasn’t been affected by Cassano’s absence, though, as he scored a hat-trick at the weekend. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
