Pepe: “Draw feels like a win”

Simone Pepe exclaimed Juventus’ come-from-behind draw against Napoli “feels like a win” as the Turin giants found themselves twice trailing by two goals.
Napoli was two goals to the good at half-time in this catch-up match at the Stadio San Paolo, but Alessandro Matri responded to close the deficit. Goran Pandev scored his second to seemingly give Napoli all three points; however, Juve showed their resiliency as Marcelo Estigarribia and Pepe netted in the final twenty minutes to ensure it ended 3-3.
Pepe was also on target against Lazio to claim the victory, but says this draw was akin to taking maximum points: “This one was more difficult, however, because I did it with the ball at my feet,” he told Juve’s website.
“It feels the same as a win. The result shows we’re a united group and we never give in. This is the signal that we’ve sent out.”
With the suspension of Claudio Marchisio, Pepe was shifted inboard, along with Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal: “I’m not a narrow midfielder, but I was able to go about my duties thanks to my team-mates. I felt at ease and enjoyed myself when I found space, also because Vidal and Pirlo protected me and granted me the freedom to go forward.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
