Pizarro back for Juventus showdown

Roma’s Chilean midfielder David Pizarro looks set to make a return to the starting 11 for Saturday evening’s big game in Turin against Juventus.
The Corriere dello Sport reports that coach Claudio Ranieri left the 31-year-old playmaker out of the squad for Wednesday night’s victory over Fiorentina to allow him to fully recover from a slight back problem but looks set to bring him back into the starting XI for the trip to Turin.
Striker Mirko Vucinic, who also played no part in the game against Fiorentina will also return for Saturday’s titanic tussle against the Bianconeri. The Montenegrin had to make do with a seat on the bench on Wednesday as he also picked up a slight back strain after Sunday’s derby win over Lazio.
Brazilian defender Juan is also on the verge of returning to the squad but the current form of Philippe Mexes may mean that he only makes the substitutes bench on Saturday.
