Pozzo: Udinese can win the Scudetto

Gino Pozzo, son of Udinese owner Giampaolo, is dreaming of an unlikely Scudetto, yet realises the path hereon in will be a difficult one. Udinese defeated Catania 2-0 yesterday with Gokhan Inler and current capocannoniere Antonio Di Natale the scorers.
“Dreams do not cost anything. We are in a position to try and go all the way and we will see what happens,” Pozzo mused to Messaggero Veneto.
Udinese sit in fourth place, six points off of leaders Milan. Looking back at the Catania match and the rest of the season, Pozzo was aware of the intricacies that lie ahead.
“It was a difficult game, Catania gave us a lot of problems, but from now all the games will be like this. All of our opponents will want to try and beat us; on the day the difference could occur in a single moment. In the meantime, the squad has built up to something important and is mature.”
Meanwhile, star striker Alexis Sanchez reiterated his desires to Gazzetta dello Sport, amid the constant speculation surrounding his future. Last week the Chilean stated he would like to stay in Udine at least another year before thinking of a move and he wants a trophy: “It is my objective to win a trophy in Italy. At the moment we are six points behind Milan; it is a dream but we are thinking of only one match at a time.”
