Prandelli announces Italy team to face Serbia

Cesare Prandelli has named Italy’s starting eleven for Tuesday’s Euro 2012 qualifier with Serbia, naming Giampaolo Pazzini among four changes.
Sampdoria duo Pazzini and Antonio Cassano will play up-front in a 4-4-2 formation in their home stadium, but Daniele De Rossi has been ruled out.
“I chose Pazzini because he has the right movements to face Serbia,” said Prandelli. “I also expect more from Cassano, as well as everyone else and that includes me. This is his stadium and I’m sure the fans will push us on.”
Prandelli has kept faith with Emiliano Viviano in goal, but has brought in Gianluca Zambrotta at right-back. Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Domenico Criscito regain their places in defence. Stefano Mauri and Andrea Pirlo are still in midfield, but Prandelli has brought in Angelo Palombo and Claudio Marchisio.
The ex-Fiorentina Coach has warned his team against Serbia’s threats. He said: “Whoever wins out of us will take three points, but they will also take a great advantage in the qualification race. We will need to pay attention to Juventus winger Milos Krasic. He has great dribbling skills and can ease past players. Serbia have individuals who can win games by themselves, they also have great personality and pride. But we too have our strengths.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
