Prandelli expects Balotelli to deliver

Cesare Prandelli is banking on Mario Balotelli to finally live up to his potential as the Coach prepares the national team for the friendly against Romania. Balotelli is bound to have more responsibility thrust on his shoulders after Antonio Cassano’s omission from the Azzurri squad.
“Players like Balotelli have a unique quality as they do not feel pressure. Champions like him have a bit more to give”, said Prandelli after of the last training session of the team. The ex-Fiorentina manager also believes that SuperMario will have an impact in tomorrow’s game: “He is highly motivated and I’m sure he will have a good game even though he experienced some discomfort during training”.
The La Nazionale Coach also freely discussed the team he will put out against the Romanians and revealed that they will start in a 4-3-1-2 formation. “Viviano in goal, Santon, Bonucci, Ranocchia and Balzaretti in defense, Aquilani, Ledesma, Mauri, Diamanti in midfield and Balotelli and Rossi upfront”. The starting line-up will have two debutantes in Alessandro Diamanti and Cristian Ledesma.
Despite the rather young team he will be fielding, Prandelli insists he has utmost respect for his opponents: “Romania is a formidable team composed of many experienced and important players playing at prestigious clubs around Europe”.
The friendly game kicks off from Klagenfurt, Austria at 1930 GMT, on Wednesday. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
