Prandelli watching Ranocchia and Biagianti

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli is casting his eye over Genoa’s Andrea Ranocchia and Catania’s Marco Biagianti on Sunday afternoon.
The two clubs face off at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, and the presence of Prandelli in the stands adds an extra dimension for the two uncapped players he is particularly scouting.
The 22-year-old centre-back Ranocchia burst onto the scene last season with Bari, and is starting to replicate that form with Genoa. He has been tipped for the national side and would surely have been considered for the World Cup squad if a serious knee injury hadn’t ended his season.
Biagianti, 26, has impressed for the past year or so as a creative midfielder, and was selected by Prandelli for the squad to play Northern Ireland and Serbia recently. He is yet to debut for Italy, but it seems he is still in contention.
Prandelli has regularly voiced his intention to revamp the national side with new players such as Ranocchia and Biagianti. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
