Prandelli – We were worried but ready to play

La Repubblica has today reported that Cesare Prandelli’s team would have played on yesterday, despite the crowd trouble created by the Serbian hooligans.
During this mornings press conference, the tactician explained, “We were ready and we wanted to play. We warmed up as usual, and once we were asked to return to the dressing room we enquired how long before the game would start as we wanted to avoid any potential physical problems. The team wanted to play the match.”
The Azzurri Coach went on to say that he could not understand how the actions of so few could bring a halt to a football match and an entire city. He concluded by declaring, “The only time i was truly concerned was when I saw them trying to break through the glass barrier and noticed children trying to get away.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
