Preziosi won’t interfere with Cassano saga

During an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss, Genoa president Enrico Preziosi closed the door on any hypothetical move for Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano.
The fiery forward is currently suspended from all first team affairs after upsetting the Blucerchiati club owner, Riccardo Garrone, and looks certain to leave.
Preziosi insisted, “We certainly are not going to get involved in this. Cassano is undoubtedly a great player but we don’t want to cause any trouble around here.”
Regarding other transfer activity, he also discussed his own players: “Criscito to Napoli? I have spoken with De Laurentiis, but we didn’t discuss football so there is no truth in that.”
“With regards to Marchetti, we have no interest at all. We are happy with our keeper situation and in Eduardo we have a player that is still adjusting to life in Italy and we are happy to give him time.”

Federico Marchetti has, similarly to Cassano, been frozen out at his club Cagliari for remarks made regarding his ambitions to play at higher level. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
