Ranieri: ‘Inter rivalry more important than Torino’

Former Juventus Coach Cluadio Ranieri has declared the rivalry between his current side Inter is more important to the Piedmontese side than their city derby with Torino.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference in anticipation of the ‘Derby of Italy’ Ranieri, a man qualified more than most on this subject, gave his thoughts on the importance of the encounter. “Even if I’ve managed Juventus in the past it won’t mean anything. Three points are three points. Having managed in Turin however I know, as far as Juventus are concerned, this is the most important match – more important than the game with Torino. This is the Italian derby, an important match, but it is not the game of our lives.”
Ranieri has also been keeping a close eye on the performances of his former side and offered his assessment on them and their Coach Antonio Conte. “He’s working well, from a technical point of view and as a motivator and he must take credit for this. Juve have the wind in their sails – they are nice to watch – and they are winning.”
