Red Bull linked with Torino takeover

According to reports in Tuttosport, Red Bull could be lining up an audacious bid to take over control of fallen giants Torino.
The drinks company already owns Austrian club Salzburg and is now looking to expand its brand name within the peninsula and sees the purchasing of the Turin club as a perfect opportunity to do this.
General Manager of Red Bull Italia, Silva Nunes, is believed to have already made contact with the club in July and when asked about a proposed takeover he replied: “but why would Red Bull not buy Torino? It would be a fantastic acquisition for us as we look to increase our portfolio. The club has a great etiquette and it would be good business for our company”.
Current Granata chief Urbano Cairo is under pressure once more from the supporters after an indifferent start to the new campaign in Serie Bwin.
