Reja laments Lazio injuries

Lazio boss Edoardo Reja praised the efforts of his team after their 1-1 draw with Catania but will have injuries to deal with as his side travels to Cagliari on the weekend.
Miroslav Klose gave the Biancoceleste a first half lead, but Catania grabbed a share of the spoils when Gonzalo Bergessio pounced to beat Federico Marchetti after the break.
Stefano Mauri, Francelino Matuzalem, Alejandro Gonzalez and the suspended Andre Dias did not take part, while Giuseppe Biava was forced to go off during the first half.
“It is a period in which we have picked up a lot of injuries. I must count what I have for Sunday. We are playing every three days and next week we have another match in the Europa League,” Reja told Mediaset Premium.
Turning his attention to the match, the Coach said: “In the first half we created four opportunities to score and after the break, after they equalised, we put in a lot of energy. I must praise my team. Catania had an extra day to rest than us but everybody played a great game.”
