Reports: Neymar to Juventus and Ganso to Inter

It may be pure speculation but reports coming out of the Samba country and comments by players seem to suggest that Brazil’s top sensations Neymar and Ganso could be plying their trade in Italy next season.
The two have been the hottest prospects in Brazil since last year and while Ganso has already alerted Santos bosses that he would like to move to Europe in the summer, Neymar issued a statement indicating his inclination towards the same.
The 19-year old told Gazzetta Dello Sport that his objective is Italy and he would welcome the chance to play in the peninsula, alerting possible suitors Inter and Juventus to make a move for him.
“My target is Italy and Europe in general. It is only natural that anyone would love to play in Italy. However, I am also happy at Santos,” the scorer of Brazil’s two goals in today’s friendly against Scotland is quoted as saying.
His team-mate at Santos, Ganso on the other hand has made it clear that he desires to move away from Brazil and try his luck in Europe. Club officials announced that he rejected an extension in the hope of playing abroad.
Ganso is being courted by both Milanese sides as Milan as well as Inter have shown an interest in him. The Rossoneri were said to be particularly close to signing him up but Leonardo’s move to Inter has titled the scales in favour of the Nerazzurri.
This was clearly suggested by Milan defender Thiago Silva who revealed to Gazzetta that before joining Milan, he was in negotiations with Inter and it was Leonardo who convinced him to come to the Rossoneri.
“Before I was bought by AC Milan, we had opened negotiations with Inter. And then, Leonardo began to call me. We talked of the Milan team, Milanello, my future. A few weeks later, I closed the door on Inter and signed the contract with Milan.
“Is it similar to the Ganso situation? Exactly. Leonardo always has the right words. Unfortunately, it would be difficult to convince Ganso to not join Inter because of this.”

If the Nerazzurri are to acquire Ganso, then they would not be able to bid for Neymar as Alexis Sanchez is also one of their primary targets and this would mean splashing out more money on the Chilean.
Such a situation, will then allow Juventus the chance to bid for Neymar and given the Brazilian’s preference for Italy, he could link up with the Old Lady in time for next season.
However, it has to be noted that Neymar is coveted by the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City, whose Italian managers Carlo Ancelotti and Roberto Mancini watched the youngster at the Emirates today.
It is unlikely that Juventus would be able to enter a bidding war with the Premier League giants and their billionaire owners and it would then be up to the player to decide his future.
