Roma-Lazio team news – Totti set for Derby start

Days after an injury put his place at risk, Tuttomercatoweb.com is reporting Francesco Totti looks set to take the field from the first minute of today’s Derby della Capitale.
Roma tactician Vincenzo Montella is set to call upon the vast experience of his talisman in place of Marco Borriello. The Little Aeroplane must do without Aleandro Rosi and Marco Brighi due to suspension while Marco Cassetti is another absentee.
With Roma still smarting from the midweek Champions League exit, Brazilian defender Juan is aware of the importance of this clash, with more than just city bragging rights up for grabs. Lazio currently occupy fourth position and Roma are gunning for them: “This Derby is important for us; if we win we will be back in the hunt for the Champions League.”
In the blue half of Rome, Andre Dias has not recovered in time from an injury and so Guglielmo Stendardo and Giuseppe Biava will start in the heart of the defence. Australian Mark Bresciano is unable to play because of a left thigh problem while Edy Reja will keep Giuseppe Sculli in place of Stefano Mauri.
Possible formations:
Roma (4-2-3-1): Doni; Burdisso, Mexes, Juan, Riise; Pizarro, De Rossi; Taddei, Perrotta, Menez; Totti. Coach: Montella
Lazio (4-2-3-1): Muslera; Lichtsteiner, Stendardo, Biava, Radu; Ledesma, Matuzalem; Sculli, Hernanes, Zarate; Floccari. Coach: Reja
