Romulo ready for Florentine adventure

Fiorentina have signed Brazilian right-back Romulo, who says he is ready to ply his trade in Europe.
The ex-Cruzeiro player will undergo his medical to make the deal official, with La Viola having paid the Brazilian side €2.5million for the 24-year-old.
Speaking to Brazilian media outlet Terra, Romulo, full name Romulo Souza Caldeira Orestes, said this is a dream come true:
“It has always been a dream of mine since I was a young boy to play in Europe, on top of that to do it at a club of great tradition.”
Romulo, who holds an EU passport, had been on loan at Atletico Paranaense, but left for Florence with his side bottom of the Brazilian Serie A: “I am a bid sad to leave Atletico in a bad position on the ladder, but I am ready to go again.”
