Ronaldinho confirms Milan exit

Ronaldinho has announced at a press conference that he will be leaving Milan. His destination is likely to be Brazil and although a decision has not been made as yet, a move is imminent.
The former Ballon d’Or winner confirmed that he had made the decision some time ago when the now Inter Coach Leonardo left his position at Milan. He said “I was happy with Leonardo at the helm, but after his departure and the change of system, I decided to return to Brazil.”
The Brazilian playmaker is trying to thrash out a deal with one of four clubs in back in his homeland. His agent and brother Roberto de Assis said that “I have spoken with four clubs in Brazil: Flamengo, Gremio, Palmeiras and Corinthians,” He added that the problem has been trying to convince Milan to let him go but now they have managed to navigate through this and the transfer request has been accepted. He also added that “We will examine the offers of the four clubs. I am personally a supporter of Flamengo and if possible would be his destination, but the final decision will be made along with the club.”
Ronaldinho thanked President Silvio Berlusconi, Vice-President Adriano Galliani and the fans at Milan for the time he had spent at the Rossoneri, he then added “It has been a wonderful experience and after two and a half years I have only positive memories of Milan.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
