Rossi: Palermo have to play the game of their lives to beat Milan

Palermo Coach Delio Rossi has said that his players will have to give their all against Milan if they are to beat them: “We will have to play the game of our lives or else hope that Milan don’t do so well”. The Sicilians will take on the Rossoneri tomorrow night at the San Siro.
In the corresponding fixture last season, Palermo had beaten Milan through goals from Fabrizio Miccoli and Mark Bresciano but Rossi believes a lot has changed over the past 12 months: “Milan and Palermo are different teams this season compared to last year. We don’t know whether we can beat Milan playing in the same style we did previously”.
Rossi is particularly wary of Milan’s summer acquisitions who he believes can cause his team lots of problems: “They consolidated their team with Ibra and Boateng and also got Robinho to make them even stronger. Ibrahimovic is one of those players who along with great technique has a distinct advantage of his height”.
The Rosanero head into the game on the back of a solid win against Genoa and Rossi believes it has given his team the right platform: “Sunday’s victory gives us great awareness. It is important for the team to find the right balance. Good teams normally attack us but we will also have to pin the Rossoneri players back, if we are to beat them”.
Palermo are currently in eight place in the league while their hosts lie second in the table just two points off surprise leaders Lazio. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
