Sampdoria refute Poli rumours

Sampdoria’s sporting director Pasquale Sensibile has denied claims Juventus made an offer for rising talent Andrea Poli.
The central midfielder is the prime asset at recently relegated Sampdoria and has been linked with a move back to Serie A. Inter were thought to be close to his signature, but Juventus emerged as the new frontrunners.
Sensibile, however, told SportItalia that while he met with Juve general director Beppe Marotta, transfer talk did not come about.
“Poli? It is only a nice thought from Juventus. Despite having a meeting with Marotta, with whom I had a pleasant chat, there was no offer.”
The Turin giants were said to be willing to sign Poli, who Samp value at €10 million, on a co-ownership basis and then allow the player to remain in Genoa next season.
In other news, the Blucerchiati has sold defender Stefano Lucchini to newly-promoted Atalanta on a permanent basis. He will undergo his medical exam on Thursday. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
