Santon looks forward to the new season with Inter

Inter’s full back Davide Santon has not had the easiest of times over the last two seasons. This term however, the 20-year old is hoping that this is the season in which he can win a permanent spot in the starting eleven.
Speaking to Mediaset Premium Santon spoke about the pre-season so far: “We have been busy these past twelve days, we have managed to cover a lot and played two friendlies that went well.
“Now we are preparing for the one planned for tomorrow in Rovereto, which will be the toughest of the three.”

The Italian U-21 International had to spend half of last season out on loan at Cesena but now believes that the under the new Coach he may have more of a chance to stake his claim.
Speaking of Gasperini he said: “He has settled in well. When he puts me in midfield, I feel fine. When I played in the first match against Trentino Team, I was the fourth man in midfield, while against Mezzocorona I was the fourth at the back.”
When asked if this was the season he would break into being a first team regular Santon said: “If this will be the year when I get my own back? I don’t want to comment, but I hope so.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
