Sensi urges fan support ahead of new owners

Amid takeover negotiations that will transfer ownership of Roma to the American consortium headed by Thomas Di Benedetto, current President Rosella Sensi urged fans to keep supporting the team they love.
In an interview with the weekly magazine A, Sensi had a message for Romanisti: “I say to the Roma fans to continue supporting the team, to have the same passion as always, indeed, even more.”
The Sensi family took control of Roma in 1993. Since that time, the Giallorossi have won won one scudetto (2000/01), two Supercoppa Italiana (2001 and 2007) and two Coppa Italia (2007 and 2008). Rosella Sensi inherited control of the club on August 17, 2008, after the death of her father, Franco. She reflected on the family’s time at the club:
“Knowing that you can sometimes go wrong, I am convinced that we have done so much and very well. The achievements are not trivial. Especially those who live in Rome know how difficult it is to reach those goals in a tough town with a lot of passion. One championship in Rome, it is worth a thousand elsewhere.”

As for Rosella, a possible career change is in order: “Sports journalist? Why not? After being on the other side, maybe we’ll try it.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
