Sneijder denies summer switch to Manchester United

Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder has stated in an interview with Dutch television on Studio Ajax that he will be staying at Inter next season despite being flattered by the interest from Manchester United.
The Dutch star who was instrumental in the Nerazzurri’s treble campaign last season has been linked with a move to the Red Devils since last summer and the Mancunians have been keen on signing him.
But, Sneijder downplayed the interest expressed in him and instead chose to compliment his suitors while assuring Inter that he was thinking only about them for the moment.
“Do I want to go to (Manchester) United? It’s a beautiful club. But I’m fine in Milan and right now is not the point to think about it.”
With Inter failing to reach the heights of last season, it had been rumoured that certain players including Sneijder had become somewhat disillusioned and club President Massimo Moratti had to come out and publicly deny that he was leaving the Nerazzurri.
A busy summer lies ahead for both the clubs as Inter and United have publicly stated their intent to bring in new faces and with UEFA’s Financial Fairplay coming into practice next season, this could be the last summer of inordinate amounts. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
