Sneijder set for new Inter contract

Inter president Massimo Moratti has told Sky Sports Italia that Wesley Sneijder is on the verge of signing a new contract with the club.
Sneijder is the favourite to win the Ballon D’Or after being an outstanding part of Inter’s Treble-winning team last season, and leading Holland to the World Cup final. There was speculation regarding his future, with Manchester United supposedly interested, but rumours should now end as the Dutchman is ready to pledge himself to Inter.
Moratti said: “Negotiations have reached a good stage. I think that Sneijder should sign a contract extension next week.”
The 26-year-old Sneijder came through the ranks at Ajax before earning a move to Real Madrid. He was deemed surplus to requirements in Spain, and Jose Mourinho signed him for Inter. Sneijder went on to develop himself into a world-class playmaker and a vital cog in Mourinho’s team. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
