Spalletti wants Udinese trio to join him in Russia

Luciano Spalletti wants Udinese’s Samir Handanovic, Cristian Zapata and Gokhan Inler to come to Russia and join his Zenit St. Petersburg side.
Spalletti, who sensationally coached Udinese to the Champions League before enhancing his reputation as Roma’s coach, recently won the Russian league with Zenit.
He now wants to reinforce his squad for next season’s Champions League, and has turned his attention back to his former club Udinese for three of their players.
Swiss midfielder Inler, 26, is his primary target. Slovenian goalkeeper Handanovic, 26, and Colombian defender Zapata, 24, will also be targeted in January because Spalletti will reportedly be handed a significant transfer budget to improve Zenit’s team.
Spalletti has already taken one Udinese player to Russia, after signing Aleksandar Lukovic last summer.
