Storari set for Genoa as Marchetti linked with Juventus

Yesterday the Gazzetta dello Sport suggested that Federico Marchetti was on his way to Genoa, however, today they have revealed that Marco Storari is now trying for forge a deal with the Genoese prompting the Turin giants to now focus on Marchetti.
Marchetti has been exiled in Sardinia after a dispute with the Chairman has seen him not even feature this term. Genoa have had problems of their own as their summer signing from Braga, Eduardo, has made some high profile errors this season. In his last game against Udinese his mistake gifted Antonio Di Natale the chance to make it 2-1. Genoa’s President Enrico Preziosi was said to be less than impressed and is now keen on pushing through the deal for Marchetti.
This morning however, La Gazzetta has claimed that Juventus goalkeeper Marco Storari has requested that his team try and forge a deal with Genoa so that he may get first team football for the rest of the season. Storari has been impressive this season, however, the return of Gigi Buffon has seen him moved back to the bench. Juventus are apparently keen for the 34-year-old Storari to move on and a fee of 4 million euros would be accepted.
Juventus would then rather move for 27-year-old Marchetti who would be seen as a direct replacement for Buffon. Juventus believe that due to the close friendship between Buffon and Marchetti it would be a smooth transition with Buffon acting as a coach and mentor. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
