Thiago Silva beckons Ganso and Mexes to Milan

Thiago Silva has called for his Brazilian compatriot Ganso and Roma defender Philippe Mexes to join him at Milan next season, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
Both players have been heavily linked with transfers to the red half of Milan, but under very different circumstances. Ganso has been touted amongst Europe’s biggest clubs for an astronomical fee from his club, Santos, while Mexes’ contract will finish at the end of the season, enabling him to join another club for free.
Thiago Silva, the Brazilian at the heart of Milan’s defence, feels that both players can improve the Rossoneri should they complete their expected switches.
About Ganso, he said: “I spoke with him before the derby. He told me he would see the game, and wished us good luck. He also said he hoped to sign a contract and play with Milan.
“He is quiet now, because he is back from a very serious injury. There are many teams that want to put him under contract and it is difficult to make a choice. But I think he will be with us because we are very strong.
“I also spoke to Galliani and told him that we must take a player like Ganso because it is difficult to find one like him.”

Thiago Silva also encouraged the arrival of fellow centre-back Mexes, saying: “I love this idea. I’m sorry that he is injured but I hope he can come back soon because he is a great player and if he arrives at Milan it will help us.”
Despite the Brazilian’s welcoming words, Milan are likely to face competition for both players due to their high demand. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
