Three clubs still fighting for Lamela

Daniel Passarella, the President of River Plate, will fly to Italy tomorrow to find a Serie A suitor for Erik Lamela, according to reports in Argentina.
Radio La Red believes Passarella will be in talks with interested parties from Napoli, Roma and Milan. Though there have been suggestions that Inter could also try to prise away the young striker.
The fallen Argentine giants were recently relegated to the second division for the first time in the club’s history and with debts of around €18 million they will be forced to sell their prized asset.
Napoli appears closest to signing the Argentina international, where the attacking midfielder would feature alongside international compatriot Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has not made any secret of the fact he would like to see the 19-year-old at the Giallorossi.
Meanwhile, Rossoneri Coach Max Allegri is a fan of the player and is searching for somebody of his characteristics. Lamela made his debut for River Plate in 2009 and has made 36 appearances overall for Los Millonarios. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
