Torino sack Papadopulo after 11 days as Lerda returns

In an incredible turnaround, Torino have shown Giuseppe Papadopulo the door after only 11 days in charge and reinstated Franco Lerda to the bench. A 1-0 loss against Frosinone equaled the end.
“It’s true, I have been dismissed,” said a shocked Papadopulo to “In football, things can go different to how you planned.”
Papa’s reign consisted of two losses from two matches and notoriously fiery Toro President Urbano Cairo acted swiftly. Torino are sitting in 10th position on the ladder, nonetheless they are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. Supporters are unimpressed with an all too familiar occurrence during the Cairo regime.
The President offered his reasons for the sacking: “The return of Lerda? He is a good Coach. With Papadopulo I waited to see something different. I thought there would be a reaction and a change in the mentality of the squad. None of this arrived and so I decided to recall Lerda.”
To complete the chaos, Cairo has said he will sell the Granata at the end of the season and blamed referees and the fans for the decision.
“Irrespective of how we finish the season I can say that I will sell the Club at the end of the season. Last year the referees punished us when we were in the play-offs, now, the fans continue to protest. The situation is intolerable.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
