Totti promises more goals

Roma Captain Francesco Totti scored twice against Fiorentina this weekend earning them a hard fought point and earning himself his 200th goal for the Giallorossi. The veteran goal scorer has promised that this is not the end of his career and that he will continue to try and score as many as possible for his boyhood club.
Speaking to the press after the Fiorentina match ‘Il Capitano’ enthused: “My 200 goals tell of a beautiful career and I have always wanted it to be with the same jersey. I always try to give my best for Roma. A month ago people thought I was finished but I always believed in myself and I have come out of this tunnel. I can still improve.”
Totti who scored both goals in the 2-0 derby victory over Lazio last week has started to find a rich vein of form especially since the departure of Ranieri, however, the 34 year old denied that his change in fortune was down to his previous coach’s departure: “When things don’t go well, it’s obvious that the coach is the one to pay. But I always had a good rapport with Ranieri. With Montella, we have found results and especially my goals. We want to return to be in the top four and today we showed a great reaction. The important thing is to continue with this positive attitude.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
