Trap hoping to avoid homeland in EURO 2012 draw

Republic of Ireland Coach Giovanni Trapattoni has expressed his hope that his side will not clash with his homeland when the draw for this summers EURO 2012 finals is made on Friday evening.
The former Azzurri coach told SkySport that he is keen to avoid his former side for two different reasons. “Psychologically, for me, I would rather avoid Italy – but also from a technical standpoint they are always a team to be avoided.”
The current Coach of the nazionale Cesare Prandelli was keen to suggest he is not worried about who the opposition will be when the draw is made in Kiev. He also told SkySport: “I am serene. I do not mind about the draw – I do not have chills, there are very strong teams but we are calm. We must be happy and excited to be here where each team is important and dangerous. We are Italy we must be able to play with everyone.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
