Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez has opened the door to a possible switch to Manchester United, according to Spanish newspaper As.
Sanchez impressed at the World Cup for Chile, but has seen playing time limited at Udinese this season. Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson, though, has praised Sanchez’s potential, prompting a response from the promising wing-man: “United? Obviously I’d like to play for a club like that,” said Sanchez.
Ferguson has lost Antonio Valencia to injury for the rest of the season, fuelling rumours of a bid for Sanchez in January as a replacement.
