Udinese reiterate no Sanchez sale

Udinese Sporting director Fabrizio Larini has once again told perspective suitors for Alexis Sanchez that the Chilean International is not for sale. Inter, Chelsea and Manchester United have all renewed their interest in the January transfer window but have all been turned away.
The 22-year-old winger had a superb World Cup and has carried on his impressive form into the new season. This has brought interest from the big Italian clubs as well from abroad; Manchester United and Chelsea have followed Sanchez’s progress recently but would face stiff competition from both Juventus and Barcelona. It is European Champions Inter however, who have pushed the hardest for the Chileans signature only to be rebuffed by Larini.
The Udinese chairman said to Calciomercato: “If Sanchez continues like this he can do well. He is a versatile player, with much room for improvement. Chelsea and Manchester United? They are two clubs that have followed him and want him but there are also others. Inter have tried in January just as the other teams did. But the wish of the club is to have Sanchez in Udine until June.”
When summer comes it is likely that Sanchez will be one of the hottest properties in Europe and Udinese may find it hard to keep hold of him. Larini seems to have accepted this especially when it is thought that Inter will make him their main transfer target, however, he will not come cheap. When asked about his valuation Larini said “We don’t set the figure, the market does. The value of the player is liable to vary.”
