Udinese to keep Sanchez until end of season

Corriere dello Sport claim that Udinese are planning to keep Manchester United transfer target Alexis Sanchez, but only until the end of the season.
United identified Sanchez as a target a long time ago but never made their interest official. Last week, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson again mentioned the Chilean winger’s name, leading to speculation that a bid could be made in January. Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larrini has refuted these claims, though.
He said: “All these rumours are due to the actions of agents, who are preparing themselves for the winter window.
“Historically, Udinese is a club that sells players when a bid that is too good to refuse is made. However, it is premature to discuss such matters, and anyway, I think it is projected more towards the summer window rather than January.”

Sanchez, 21, played for Cobreloa in Chile before joining the Zebrette in 2006. He has since gone on to establish himself as one of Europe’s most talented youngsters.
