Upcoming matches crucial for Juventus

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio believes the next few weeks will be vital for the Bianconeri as they chase the Scudetto.
A battling 1-0 win at the Stadio Via del Mare in Lecce meant Juve re-started the championship on the right foot as opposed to last season’s 4-1 home loss against Parma.
Marchisio told the club’s official website they did not make the most of their chances and like Coach Antonio Conte noted, can still improve.
“The temperature difference between our training camp and today’s match hasn’t changed things much. In the second half, we had several counter-attack chances to seal our victory, but we haven’t made the most of them. After the championship break, this win at a tough venue allows us to get off to a good start in 2012. However, we know that we need to further improve, just as our Coach asserts.”
Juventus are back at home this weekend when they take on Cagliari, before matches against Atalanta and Udinese.
“Now, we’ve the opportunity to work a whole week again, in order to prepare ourselves. The next games will be crucial if we want to battle until the end.”
