Van Bommel thanks Galliani

Mark van Bommel celebrated his eighth career league title with his Milan teammates on Saturday night and has thanked C.E.O Adriano Galliani for bringing him to the club.
Milan wrapped up their 18th Scudetto with a goalless draw last weekend against Roma but celebrated in front of their own fans on Saturday night as they defeated Cagliari 4-1.
Van Bommel, who has won league titles with PSV, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and now Milan, was a key January acquisition and has been widely praised for his performances since joining the Rossoneri.
He told Milan Channel: “I have won eight league titles in my career; but to do this here in front of all of our fans is wonderful. I am happy to be in Milan and many thanks to Mr. Galliani for bringing me here.
“Football can be strange in that in January, one Sunday I was playing in Munich and three days later I was playing for Milan in the Coppa Italia.”
