Viviano’s agent reveals Inter talks

The agent of Bologna’s co-owned goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano has revealed that Inter are negotiating to sign the other half of the youngster’s contract, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Inter and Bologna own 50 per cent of Viviano each, and he is currently playing for the Rossoblu. However, Viviano’s agent has claimed that Inter want to buy him outright.
Renzo Contratto said: “I know that the two clubs are already starting to talk. If not today, then tomorrow, but over the next few days they will certainly discuss the matter.
“I do not know these details. I can confirm that Inter’s intention seems to be to keep Viviano, but it is only October and there is time until June to resolve co-ownership deals. It’s still a little early.”

Inter bought half of the 24-year-old’s contract in January 2009, before loaning back to his previous club Brescia. This summer, Bologna bought Brescia’s half, and agreed with Inter that his short-term future was with the newly-promoted side. However it now seems Inter are interesting in buying Bologna’s percentage, which could be valued at approximately 6 million Euros if Viviano continues to impress this season.
