Vucinic returns for Roma’s trip to Verona

Roma’s Montenegrin striker Mirko Vucinic will return to the starting XI for the trip to Verona to face Chievo on Saturday evening.
Corriere Dello Sport reports that the 27-year-old has recovered form the ankle injury that kept him out of the Giallorossi’s 3-1 defeat in Palermo last Sunday.
The Montenegrin international has scored three times this season but all his goals have come at the Stadio Olimpico, and Coach Claudio Ranieri will hope that he reverses that trend this weekend.
Meanwhile, Giallorossi director Gianpaolo Montali called up an Italian television station to quash rumours surrounding a falling out between striker Marco Borriello and his teammates.
Last weekend in Palermo, the man on loan from Milan was seen arguing with captain Francesco Totti but Montali explained that: “There are no problems between any of our players. To make false claims like this shows a lack of respect.”
Roma are currently in seventh place in the league just eight points behind leaders Milan.
