Zamparini heaps praise on Palermo ace Javier Pastore

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has taken time to praise his star player Javier Pastore despite the midfielder suffering a poor run of form.
The Argentine has been Palermo’s number one player this year although recently he has been suffering a dip in form. Zamparini told Radio Sportiva: “Pastore is a great player and his form has suffered from the difficulties to whole team is having.”
The outspoken Palermo Chief rates him so highly that he went on to say: “Pastore is the biggest talent in world football after Lionel Messi.”
Talking about the recent dismissal of Delio Rossi and the appointment of Serse Cosmi he said “Rossi is a great coach, but he no longer had the rapport with the team. Cosmi is the right choice to shake up the side. Cosmi is known as a man with grit. He was chosen by our future director of sport and is an excellent motivator. If we string together three consecutive wins, then we can get back into the Champions League race.”
Palermo face a tough away game at Lazio on the weekend. With Serse Cosmi being a staunch Roma fan it will certainly be a fiery affair. Palermo currently lie eighth in the table and could leapfrog Juventus should they win in Rome and Milan are victorious in Turin. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
