Zamparini warns Napoli that Palermo will be tough to beat

Maurizio Zamparini is looking forward to the Coppa Italia clash tonight, as Palermo travel to Milan in the semi-final first leg, while also warning Napoli of a difficult match when the two meet on the weekend. The fiery President also spoke about Edinson Cavani and praised Napoli’s squad.
Zamparini spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss, noting: “My Palermo has an important objective in the Coppa Italia and we hope to do well.
“Regarding the match against Napoli, I believe that Cavani will be well received. I am happy for him. I think that a player who has scored 25 goals needs an adjustment to his contract. [Aurelio] De Laurentiis knows his work well and Edinson will remain with the Azzurri.”

Palermo lies eighth on the table, while Napoli are second and on course for a spot in the Champions League, while still holding on to faint Scudetto hopes. The Rosaneri defeated Roma at the Stadio Olimpico last weekend and Zamparini warns his side will not be a pushover.
“What I can say is that on Saturday afternoon [Walter] Mazzarri’s team will find a Palermo that will be a tough nut to crack, just like at Roma.”
Known for speaking his mind on all issues, Zamparini praised the Partenopei: “I consider Napoli to be a strong squad with little to improve on. Perhaps with an acquisition in the center of midfield they can competitive in Europe, but it is already a great squad.”
Finally, he quashed any talk of Delio Rossi replacing Mazzarri, stating: “Delio Rossi in place of Mazzarri next season? That is fantasy football.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
