Zarate row sparks exit rumours

There are reports in Corriere dello Sport claiming that Lazio striker Mauro Zarate could be set to leave the club after arguing with manager Edy Reja.
Zarate, one of Lazio’s main creative influences, has been criticised for his work-rate by Reja this season while the club were top of Serie A. Despite his attacking ability, Reja benched him for the Rome derby due to his unwillingness to perform defensive duties, and a few days later Zarate was substituted against Cesena and reacted angrily.
After Lazio lost both of those games, are were knocked off the top of the league, Reja allegedly sought to patch up his relationship with Zarate in a training session. However, the 23-year-old Argentinean was still bemused by his manager’s recent decisions, and there are reports that the pair’s relationship may not be able to be fixed.
If Zarate is looking for a way out of the capital club in January, there will be no shortage of suitors for the former Velez Sarsfield, Al-Sadd and Birmingham City player. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
